We’re excited to announce Solo.io Ambassadors, a new program for professionals looking to expand their experience in the cloud native space. We are very proud to welcome our first class of Solo Ambassadors and look forward to the skill, expertise, and improvements they will bring to Solo and our ecosystem.
The Solo Ambassador program is designed to help professionals develop their project management and collaboration skills, build a robust network, and gain exposure to open source projects.
How the program works
The program is focused on five key verticals:
- Community
- Product/developer experience
- Code
- Outreach
- Innovation
Over the course of the 3-month program, ambassadors will gain exposure to open source cloud native projects, gain project management skills, organize cloud native projects and events, work on documentation, troubleshoot code issues, network with industry experts, seek out opportunities to innovate – and more.
Meet our first ambassadors
We selected our very first ambassadors based on their community contributions toward the cloud native and application networking space. Some are also actively contributing to Gloo and Istio projects. They are consistently working toward making better content in this space, and we’re excited to deepen our work with them.
