We’ve noticed, when deploying applications on AWS EKS, developers often face the challenge of managing complex networking requirements, such as routing, security, and observability. While AWS EKS provides a robust platform for container orchestration, managing the underlying network can still be daunting.

In partnership with TechStrong, we explore how developers on AWS EKS can leverage Kubernetes Gateway API to simplify network management. By leveraging technologies like AWS VPC Lattice and our Istio Ambient Mesh, we can offload much of the networking complexity, allowing developers to focus on their core tasks—ensuring their services and APIs are secure, performant, and observable.
